Self Rising Water!

You can do this experiment at home with an adult! All you need are the materials listed below and the directions are super simple for your and your adult to work through together.

Think about these questions as you do the experiment!

During the experiment, think about if the candle was bigger, would there be more heat? Ultimately, the size of the candle does not matter!

What about what would happen if there was more flame - or more wicks? The answer is that it would create more heat, which would mean that when the candle went out, more water would come inside the jar!

Once you have done the experiment your water should be sucked up into the jar like this!
